Inform team members when you start/finish the day, take a break - so they know that you're away from the keyboard
Sync about work status in the morning and end of the day - this way everyone is informed of what's happening in the team

Let the other person have some focused time - don't disturb with questions every 15 minutes because it's tough to work and answer questions at the same time
